As the name suggests, SE Ranking started out as a rank tracking tool. However, over the years the platform has grown into a full set of tools for keyword research, competitor analysis, comprehensive site audits, keyword ranking, backlink monitoring, automated white label reporting, and much more more developed.
SE Ranking: Main Tools
Let's take a look at some of the key tools that make the SE ranking so attractive and easy to use.
Once you have logged into your account, you will first need to create a new account Project Click on the green "Create Project" button:
Projects help keep everything in one place. For example, if you have a few websites or you manage a few client websites, you can group them together into a project.
In the project settings, you go through a number of steps to set everything up.
General information: Enter the website url, domain type and project name, select the group name, search scope (Top 100 or 200) and project access, then enable the weekly report and site review.
Keywords: Track the ranking positions for all of the keywords you are interested in. Either add them manually, import them from Google Analytics, or upload a CSV / XLS file.
Search engines: Select the search engine (Google, Yahoo, Bing, YouTube or Yandex), the country, the location (except for the postal code level) and the language of the keywords you want to track. You can also add Google Maps Results and Google Ad Rankings if you want.
Competitor: You can add up to 5 competitors to a project and track their changes in ranking position (based on your keywords) compared to your website. You can add your competitors manually or use the automatic suggestion feature.
Statistics & Analysis: With the final discontinuation, you can link your Google Analytics and Search Console accounts to the SE ranking to analyze search queries and website traffic in more depth.
Note: You can change these project settings at any time.
Keyword Rank Tracker
The Keyword Rank Tracker gives you the real-time ranking positions of your selected keywords in Google, Bing, Yahoo, YouTube or Yandex search engines on desktop and mobile devices.
Bonus function: With the Keyword Rank Tracker you can set up to 5 variations for each keyword you are monitoring. For example, if your keyword tracking eligibility is 250 keywords, you can track 250 keyword rankings for Google and Bing on mobile and desktop and only get a fee for 250 keywords, not 1,000 keywords.
You can also track your placements at the country, regional, city or postcode level and monitor them on Google Maps.
In the ranking dashboard:
